We took a road trip on Saturday to San Francisco, to pick up our arriving German exchange student.  As her flight was a bit late, we had time to stop by the 2005 Berkeley Kite Festival, which provides an excellent opportunity for some colorful shots.  Since I chose the Casio Z750 you know I like saturated colors!  A selection of some of the photos are posted over on flickr.

I loved the fact that many of the jumbo kites are themed as ocean life, turning the sky into a huge aquarium.

I also posted a few shots of our stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge.
